Redefine Success

Looking Ahead: Our Aspirations for the 2026 Season

As we look ahead to the 2026 season, there’s a real sense of excitement around Fremantle Sharks. A new season always brings fresh energy, new opportunities, and the chance to keep building on the foundations that make our club what it is — passionate, driven, community-minded, and fiercely proud.

For us, 2026 is about more than results on the scoreboard. It’s about continuing to grow a strong club culture, creating meaningful opportunities for players, and building an environment where everyone involved in Fremantle Sharks can thrive. From our athletes and coaches to our volunteers, families, and supporters, every part of the club has a role to play in shaping the season ahead.

One of our biggest aspirations for 2026 is to continue strengthening our pathways and development. We want to support emerging talent, nurture confidence, and give players the tools they need to take the next step in their netball journey. Whether that means stepping up into a new team, refining skills under pressure, or growing as leaders on and off the court, development remains at the heart of what we do.

We also want 2026 to be a season that reflects the spirit of Fremantle Sharks — resilient, connected, and ready to rise to every challenge. Success is not only measured in wins, but in the way we show up for each other, the standards we set, and the pride we bring every time we represent the club. We want to be known as a team that competes hard, supports deeply, and never backs down.

Off the court, our aspirations are just as important. We want to continue growing the Fremantle Sharks community, deepening connections with our supporters, and creating a club environment that people feel proud to be part of. Netball has the power to bring people together, and in 2026 we want to keep building a club that feels inclusive, ambitious, and full of heart.

There is so much to look forward to in the season ahead. New goals, new moments, new milestones — and a fresh opportunity to keep writing the Fremantle Sharks story. As a club, we head into 2026 with belief, ambition, and a clear vision for what we want to achieve together.

The work starts now, and we can’t wait to see what this season brings.

We are Fremantle Sharks — and we’re ready for 2026.

Small Steps Create Big Shifts

A Message for the 2026 Season

As we head into the 2026 season, there is a real sense of purpose around this group. Every new season brings fresh opportunity, but it also brings responsibility — to lift our standards, to grow together, and to represent Fremantle Sharks in a way that reflects the pride of this club.

Our aspirations for 2026 are clear. We want to keep building a team environment that is competitive, connected, and committed to doing the hard things well. Success does not come from talent alone. It comes from consistency, discipline, and the willingness to show up for each other every single day.

This season is about continuing to grow our identity as a team. We want to be known for our resilience, our work ethic, and our ability to stay composed under pressure. We want to be a side that competes hard, embraces the challenge, and never backs down when the game asks more of us.

Just as importantly, we want to keep building strong connections across the wider club. The Opens team is proud to be part of something bigger than itself. We want to set the standard, represent the Sharks community with pride, and help inspire the next generation of players coming through the program.

There is a lot to be excited about in 2026. There will be challenges, growth, and moments that test us, but that is exactly where strong teams are made. We are looking forward to the work ahead and to seeing what this group can achieve together.

We know what this club stands for, and we are ready to carry that into the season ahead.
